Yes, if it's at the body shop already, just get them to paint them. There is another car on here that is Charcoal, with black bumpers. Facelessnumber http://mmb.maverick.to/gallery/showimage.php?i=8982&catid=member&imageuser=7472
I have not seen a Maverick with the brushed metal effect bumpers yet............. Different can be good..........
On my classic car Dennis gauge was at Jay Lenos garage, they were using some new product that looks just like chrome. I was as hard as chrome and could be used on potmetal. it was a fraction of the cost of chrome and can be applied at home. I wrote down the name of it but cant find the paper now.
Dave Thanks for the web site, that is something ! ! I d love to have that done to my bobcat tailights.
The website for Chrome Solutions obviously sucks!! There is no info anywhere, I've done some other searching that may indicate they've closed shop. Here's another link for that kinda stuff: http://www.sprayonchrome.com/index2.html
We've got a bunch of this stuff in the basement, not that brand but same stuff. Old as the hills. I plan on using it for pinstriping the interior door panels and for plastic trim on the grille The stuff sticks good but I wouldn't do bumpers with it...just doesn't look spot on, or like it belongs
