c4/302 is there a block plate?

    Well go throw that starter up into place and see if it fits. Should be easy, but I bet you have headers, sometimes its not so easy to get it up there. I had to do it once in a parking lot, without a jack. That was not fun, it was like working blind just feeling up there with my face smashed against the floorboard.

    hahaha I would. The headers are off and the starter's in my living room. Just need to get my weather machine working first, I guess..
