I bought a 76 maverick. It has the 200. It has to warm up for 15min in order for the drive gears to engage. Reverse engages no problem. I already have a c4 from a 250. It's a good strong tranny and has never done this. I know the bellhousings are different in order for the 250 C4 to fit the 302. But are there other differences? I'm wondering if the c4 from the 250 will work on the 200 if the bellhousings are switched. That way I can just "drop & switch".....and maybe build the tranny up a little
