Ya know that's a good question, just how many Maverick's and Comet's are there left in this world, in your garage, backyard, dead in a scrap yard, rotting in a field, sitting in a barn or in a used car lot. In America, Canada, Mexico or Brazil, or....... really any country in the world. What's the true number, it makes you wonder!:burnout::drive::drool:

I do use a cover on my Grabber, especially during the winter. This thred got me thinking about the '73 302 two door I had in high school, and the '74 Comet 4-door 250 I had for a winter beater about that time

:hmmm: Does anyone know how many total members we have, how many have one Maverick or Comet, and how many have more than one? That's a figure I'd like to know and I'm sure many others are wondering.

Well, as of today, we have 11,446 members.

There is no way to find out (unless you wanna contact each member one at a time) exactly how many cars are owned by all of these members. I would be willing to bet however that at least 50% of these members own at least one Maverick/Comet which would put us close to 6000 cars...at one a piece. This thread has found many, many members with multiple cars so I think a better guess would be closer to 7000 cars. There are many people that sign on here looking for cars and several who are just trying to sell something (spammers). Anyway, I think I'm being conservative in thinking that there are probably 4000 or so members who do NOT own one of these cars. So now...where the heck are all of these cars and why can't we have an incredible get together like they do in Brazil with 100 or so at once??? Oh well...maybe one day but I doubt it.
