    Up here in Mississauga the city is very anal about cars with no plates, plus with the help of nosey piss ant neighbours the city has it covered pretty good. If it were up to me i would have 50 Mavericks and Comets and still be buying them to save or part out, just as long as they don't end up in the bone yard.

    That's right. I bought a show car Maverick about 3 years ago... For my wife! Heck, I even let drive it about 3 times.

    I started out just wanting to replace my highschool ride,a 73 Grabber,sky blue and white 302 4 speed w/limited slip rear.I have had every thing but what i wanted.I just refuse to let a maverick go for scrap if i can save it.I suppose having 40 acres all surrounded by old oaks for privacy and the closest nieghbor a half mile away helps!! I have had all kinds of big block cars ,trucks but nothing stops that hunger for the next great deal! I live for the hunt! Does this make me crazy?,

    well i have my 73 grabber with 302 roller with ford racing heads demon carb canton pan hooker headers c-6 rev patteren shift, 4000 rpm stall ,caged transbrake and then there is my 64 fairlane wagon again 302 hooker headers c4 and all assorted goodies and i am about half done on body work(this cart ran 137.285 @bonniville)and my 61 falcon which i havnt started yet because of money wagon project butmy plan is for a 2300 inline 4with a turbo so it can feed on imports

    Fords at Summit Sunday 26 July 2009

    I went to the inaugural Fords at Summit this past Sunday.There were quite a few Mavericks there looking great and kickin some butt on the track.If you were there on Sunday or the entire weekend,let me know.I took quite a few pics of the Maverick faithful!! had a great time, weather was awesome:thumbs2:
