I'm looking for some input on what resonators would be the best for my exhaust. I have 2 1/2 duel exhaust on my 302 with 14 inch summit racing mufflers. Sound great but at highway speeds the drone gets a little overwhelming. I would like to tone it down a bit but still have a good sound. Any suggestions?

I have seen quite a few people, myself incuded, chase drone issues with swapped parts only to change the frequency or rpm at which it occurs. THE biggest issue that eludes so many is not the muffler brand or style.. but the isolated suspension of the entire system. If you're buying exhaust suspension components at the local parts store?.. that is likely most of your issue right there. Think soft and resilient OEM hangers.. not cheap rubber straps. 2 by the mufflers and 2 more near each tailpipe.

Also keep in mind that even 2 inches longer tailpipes exiting further out from underneath the rear of the car will reduce reverberation under the vast open area around the rear end housing.
