can i use comet door on maverick?

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    All depends on what year it is and how many doors it has. But a quick answer: You can probably use it.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    You can use all the parts from a comet on a maverick...They are one in the same...Different hood/grill... bumper (Pre 73) different tail light panel too.The difference in the doors is small but not related to fitment. In 73 the doors got side intrusion beams (Crash bars) and the inner door handle was relocated causing a change in arm rest style. Otherwise...Same stuff.

    Also: Early 73 doors will have mount points for both styles of door handle/arm rest.
