Can someone identify and verify?

    Ok bought this 73 Comet 250 inline six 3 speed auto column...
    It came with many extra parts including this carb (see photos below) can anyone identifie this carb and tell me what stock carb came with vehicle or the carb options ?

    That looks like a setup for a LPG conversion.

    LPG ? Liquid Propane Gas ?
    Who and why would anyone want to convert to Propane ???
    How does that look like a LPG convertion to you ?
    It clearly has gasoline nipples

    1972 Comet GT clone 306 . 1969 Fairlane Cobra 428CJ 1988 T-Bird awaiting 331 ..
    That's a Carter RBS, was used on all the Maverick/Comet 250 because of it's short height. The 250 is too tall in these cars to use the YF that was on most 200 and 250 in Mustang, Granada etc.
