Can't see thumbnails

Maybe milk would do it. Clearing the cookies didn't. Don't know what to do next.

How or rather whom are you using to open the forum with?

 

I'm using Firefox browswer, http://mmb.maverick.to, and my rosalindr user ID.

Sometimes I can hover my cursor over the thumbnails box and get a link to the full-size photo, but other times I don't get anything at all. It's very frustrating (except for the evil anti-cat pictures , which I'd rather not see!).

Yup. Doesn't work either. But sometimes I can see dashes where the thumbnails should be. Strange.

Just a thought......do you have Java installed on that computer?

If you don't think you have it, give this a try. Download Java, then restart your computer after it's done. Here is the link Java

Roz, is this the only web site it's happening with? Can you view images and animated smilies anywhere else on the web? I'm just trying to narrow it down....maybe it's a Windows 2000 issue, because it doesn't sound like it's the browsers.

 

It was my firewall

I contacted CA Tech Support for my eTrust Personal Firewall. The tech support person gave me instructions to delete the Internet Logs folder in the winnt directory. This must be a common problem because he knew right away what to do. I should have contacted them first. Thanks to all of you who tried to help. :Handshake
