My Dad was a year round fisherman and I loved it as well. I went with him many times even when it was time for ice fishing. He used to pray for 10 degree weather for good ice, 10 or 15 inches. We would go to lake St Clair or Mitchels Bay and fish all day for a few perch. As he got older he had to give up the ice fishing. Then I got older and bought a new Maverick Grabber and had to find ways not to drive it in Winter. At the time, I thought I was the only guy that put a new car away and bought an older car to drive daily. Most people thought I was nuts! It wasn't long though many of my friends did the same and we still do.

Some of you guys are missing the point of ice fishing. It's about the beer! And if you're doing it right, you aren't cold.

I take my flask with Crown Royal in it. Warms the heart.

Looks like I timed the car storage perfect last weekend. They hit our roads hard with salt the past few days. No way could I have drove it to storage this weekend.

HEy Scooper we can wakeboard as well in the Winter. Its called a toboggan. Or we can hop on our Ski doos and blast across the frozen lake at 100 plus MPH. :thumbs2:
