Cant you build a crate and just pad the hood with a layer of bubble wrap

I totally understand Derrick, even though mine made it to me without damage the box was pretty beat up and had me scared until I opened it and everything was okay.

exactly what i mean! and if i recall that was one make shift box right? the hood that mike got was a perfect fit.. the size was right one. ideally you want it perfect so it does not get banged up. also the truck guys aren't very smart sometimes and they put the box flat and then throw stuff on stop of it! i had one hood get split right down the middle.. yeah the carbon was fine but the clear was cracked from front to back! Grrrrr!

mike what are you trying to stick under the hood?

i have stuck the grabber hood on my white maverick before and it fits... i have a performer RPM and a 1/4 inch spacer with a holley and a 3inch drop base air cleaner and it clears the grabber hood.

sorry if you told me but i forgot... lol!

    sorry nope..

hows this erick you drive over to my house get it and then drive it to him! lol! or better yet have your parents bring it to him.. they travel all the time! lol!

hell just come over i'll give it to you free! lol! ;) yeah right!

mike what are you trying to stick under the hood?

wow another masterpiece, would love to have them all lol, great job again, like them both , but I would need the cowl hood for clearence as well... let us know if you start shipping them again.... I can only imagine how much of a pain they would be to box up. but for guy's like me in Illinois a local pick up only kills the idea for us. congrats on another great looking part.

How much are the carbon fiber grabber hoods going for these days? I would love to drive down and pick one up. I will be down there for knottsberry next year.
