Did you weigh the grabber hood? Also the orginal c/f hood. May have to put one on the "drag queen"

Wow, I can't believe YOU were capable of such a masterpiece. j/k...looks awesome Derrick. Really cheap too. I think my real Grabber hoods went down in value by about $200.

I loved the 3 inch cowl hood but now I think the Grabber hood is killer. I will have to think hard about this one. If we put the Grabber hood on, were does the water go if you get caught in a down poor?

It looks great. Is the underside smooth? Does the hood lip trim fit and screw on?

the same place it would if you have a functional hood scoop ;) but really i don't think it would be much of a problem the worst your shock towers would get wet... if your that worried tape them up with duck tape ;) use to do it all the time when i had a top mount intercooler hood on my othe car.

photo of underside is on first post. lip tirm will fit but will take some budging. no screw holes were made for it. that is about the only thing i didn't put there. the orginal hood was so far gone there was no where to match them up anyways.

    Holy shot!
    That is friggin awesome!
    I'm getting one!

Can I PayPal you the deposit?

I am glad it will take some time to make, I might have to use that production time to make you payments...

You said "same creases as stock"...
    What did you mean?
I thought you meant that you can see the outline of the removeable scoops, but I didn't see any outline in the pics.
If it does have the 'outline', what could I use as a filler to smooth it out?

    Thanks!
    Dave

no i didn't :( but i think someone here already has. the c/f one is on my car now i'm going to be taking it off later on in the week... (i'm not going outside again its 110 in my garage right now!!!) i will weight it then.

you can pay me for the whole thing and i will ship the one i have now! ;) well really this week... lol! i have the one done and finshed remember. if you need to save up then save now.. ;) pay pal me the deposit and e-mail me as well.

as for "creases" i ment the pointed rises in the grabber hood what makes the shape of the hood besides the scoops. the scoops are intergrated in the hood so there are no "outlines"

if i think about it, i think that was one of your requests before i made this..lol!

Great job! (y) Are you pretty confident that the hood lip chrome can be installed on this hood?

    wanna buy one? :D

ok mike just for you i went out the garage right now to see if it fits. now i'm all sweaty and smelly thanks 2u!

but yes it will fit. i just check both ends to see if it was wide enough and it perfect... but like i said it will need to be pushed on... it not just going to slip right on.... also once you put it on it will scratch the finish where the molding goes. so once that puppy is on... there is no turning back.
