Comet GT - Dark Green w/black stripes baby!

X2...and the hood scoop is identical to the one on Mercury Montego GT for those of you that didn't know (I have the part number written down somewhere - will post up if I find it)

If there is enough interest, I may add my name to the list for one of these (I can sense the pressure from fellow Comet owners now...DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!...LOL)

Damn that is a nice hood Derrick! It would look sweet on my Grabber with it painted and the center stripe left in the carbon fiber black!

Is there only going to be a limited amount of these made? Or are they on an order basis?

i'm here to make your pockets empty! lol! ;)

not at this moment on the hood. but i think if i am going to do this one it going to be a pre ordered one... i'm not going to be storing these and sitting on them. ;) let me know when your ready for the hood.

i'll be starting a batch soon and the whole batch should be done in about month and a half if i don't get too busy! but should be two months for sure done! thanks!

i'm going to bang out 10 maybe 20 of them for sure right off the bat. then make them if need be after that. my cowls are going to be limited... not to sure if i will be doing those anymore. we will see... so if you have one of thoses your gonna be lucky! lol!

I will MOST DEFINITELY be ordering one of these hoods! May not be for 3 or 4 months, but I will be getting one!

The fitment sold me man! I have read about the bad experiences with fiberglass hoods. That is some quality work!

This is a done deal for me.
I informed the wife tonight that I was buying one.
She then was gracious enough to give me permission! :D

Thanks man. Thats the good side of the car :rofl: The passenger side was in an accident before I bought it, so the people that fixed it had no idea what they were doing. So the 1/4panel is all rusted out and there is rust all over the door and everything :/ But this winter it will be in the shop probably getting all that fixed and a new paint job.

I was thinking about buying another one and starting over but I decided I wanted to SAVE this one from being crushed :)

    Maverick Man,
That is nothing less than incredible! I wonder what the Sprint would look like with a carbon fiber hood? hummmm.........I already have $375.00 cash back saved up on my Discover card. I was going to use the money for a weekend with my wife. Any one think my wife would mind going to McDonalds on our 20th instead. That really is nice!!!
