    are there any center console options for a 74 maverick that dont have the hole for the shifter?

    Best bet would be to find one you like out a random car and make it fit. Even if it has a hole for a shifter you could block it off.

    My Dad had one of these consolettes in his new 1973 Pinto - he thought it was so cool that he had a place to put his gloves in the winter

    Google image search Mercury Monarch interior. Shows bucket/console cars with column shift. No idea how easy they would be to find, but they exist. Pretty sure the Granada had them, too.
