    with any power I don't think they will last long with posi and 4:11.
    my Detroit locker with 3:55s twisted them, w/street tires.

    I see you're in Charleston too. I've not seen any maverick/Comet around here. Would love to see what you're working with.

    Sure thing, I still need to get exhaust put on then alittle body work but we can get together sometime

    I'm not drivable yet either. I'm on suspension now. Diskbrake upgrade next, driveshaft and tires before i can see if this thing moves on its own.

    I work at AFB.

    Any luck finding 4.11 8inch?

    Probally 1 of my best upgrade was to replace my 8in with a 9in in my mustang.

    Was in delaware at time so lots of resource. Found 9 in housing. Ordered 31 spline axle. Ordered and picked up 3.89 Detroit locker from a guy in PA.

    Locker been problem free since yr 2000. Don't race anymore however.
