Comet light design has been submitted and are being finalized as we speak, those who have sent payments for the Maverick lights, Thank you, those who want to send payments for the Maverick lights, once again PM me and I will get the info for you to make your payment.

Comet guys I will let you know when to PM me for your payment information here in this thread.

Also I am trying to get some specs as to size of mounting hole or whatever you need to mount them, I plan on going to the hardware store and getting an L bracket to mount mine as I want one shining on the underside of my hood when open and one shining on the ground in the rear center.
    Thanks to all.
    Roger

Ok I just got a Pm back from Carl, he states...... "Specs are 12 ~ 24 vdc. I don't have a link. There is a hole-saw included FREE with a pair of lights that's an exact cut, so that will take the measuring voo-doo out of the picture. Instructions ARE included with the lights, also- and I'm here if there's a question."

This is probably what I would go with... Sorry if its sloppy or off, I vectored it out super quick...

Also, I have done Graphics Design for 10+ years now, and have done it for a full-time job a few years back. Now I mainly do it for my personal hobby as-side from Mavericks :p .

If you guys are interested I can vector out a Comet, and a Maverick one that is a bit more crisp. I dont want to step on toes by jumpin on the thread, but my services are available :)

From what I understand, these images are laser sharp, super clear and detailed, as far as getting them done in different images, I tried to pick a couple that would satisfy most of the Maverick/Comet crowd, you see there is a set-up fee involved with each image, and because of that set-up fee, a minimum order of 10 pair of lights for each image was needed to keep the cost low, I wanted the Logo Lights badly enough that if need be, I would have purchased the 10 pair myself just to have them made, once I had asked about them in here and saw an interest, I figured I could get 10 orders and save myself the expense of bearing the load of buying all 10 sets, I could get any image done but only with a minimum order per image, so far I have 8 interested parties I have sent payment information to for just the Maverick lights, I have also went ahead with the Comet light order and as stated before they are being done and should be ready soon, if I can get the 10 orders done for the Maverick and 10 for the Comet lights, great, saves me from spending alot of money all at once and then trying to recoup later, I figure this is the easiest way to do it, these are custom made on demand and from what I have seen they are very good quality and bright as can be, there are other designs available and later on I will post what those are, just trying to get past the initial orders for the two designs already submitted.
    Thanks
    Roger

PS: This is an actual photo taken of an installed 50th anniversary Vette light made by the same guy making the Maverick/Comet lights.....

The cheap ones are china made, most likely not water proof. they dont use CREE led so lighting is poor and the ones ive seen looked blurry/fuzzy in letter and color
gtr lighting i think wants 65 or 80 for a pair so 45 is great

Well there is a problem with the artwork for both Maverick and Comet lights, seems the resolution for them is too low at 660 DPI, I somehow need better images of the designs, I'm gonna work on getting some but if anyone else can come up with higher resolution pics of the images, feel free to do so, need them quick!!

Ok I think I got it now..we shall see, the maker of these lights refuses to make them unless the quality is great, he wants happy customers, and sharp images means sharp looking lights!

Got this e-mail a few minutes ago.............

    Hi Roger,
I placed the order this morning. I should hear back in a few days.

Something I should have mentioned is that these have USA Cree, not the cheapo stuff. Also, these projectors are waterproof, so there's no worry mounting them on the outside the car (like I did on my '03). I'm not sure what you'll be doing with yours so as I think of things you may want to know I will pass that info along to you.
Also, I thought you might be interested in the dimensions of the lights.
    Here's what they look like.

If you need any further info let me know.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
    Carl
