There's also an e-mail feature on here. So the limited number of P.M.s really isn't that big of an issue.

$100? Gee, I paid $65 for one of my grabber hoods. So how does a price of $100 constitute a scam?

When did you buy that $65 Grabber hood? I bought one in the late 90s for $300 CDN, and that was a good deal as the CDN dollar was low at the time.

A few years ago. I'm sure $300 CDN is less in USD. I admit I got a good deal. It was certainly worth more than $65. That was my 2nd Grabber hood. The first one (the one currently on my car) I traded an old Holley 600 and a cheap set of modular wheels. Sometimes you find deals like that though. It doesn't neccessarily mean it's a scam. That's all I was saying...

I know where there is a 72 grabber hood sitting in a river-bottom chunk of property...where I bought my front and rear valences, and the rear spoiler and such. Should I buy the hood? Is it worth THAT much?

Thats true, but it would raise some eye brows. I'd rather err on the side of caution than see someone get ripped off.

Depends on how rusty it is. If it's extreamly rusty, I would at least try to save the scoops out of it. If it's only surface rusted, or maybe only some holes in the front lip, it's worth saveing if you can get it for cheap IMO...

It has the typical rusted out front lip, like most hoods. He tried to sell me the entire car for $100, but I was afraid if I towed it home, there would be nothing left after my 40 mile drive, after all the rust and junk vibrated off and hit the road. I just gave him the $100 and took the valences and rear spoiler. Still sitting there, as far as I know. If someone gets REAL desperate, you know how to get a hold of me...
