    Wow Rick...

That stuff works pretty good! It even installs parts that weren't there before you sprayed it!

That's great! Where did you get the blue hoses? Are there any good places to buy engine "dress up" materials (that fit the Mav)?

For painting various components does one *have* to use high-temp paint? Who has a good array of paints in stock? I am attempting to repaint the air filter casing. Ford Blue is too light, Ford Dark Blue is too dark.

I went to the local Auto Parts store for my paint. Used semi flat black for the compartment. The plug wires are Taylor custom (blue) & have to be cut & put together to fit the way you want to run them. Taylor wires come in assorted colors (just pick your color). I had the hood hinges, shock towers, firewall braces, hood latch & hood lock all powder coated chrome. Found a place that had chrome alternators & water pumps (Tuffstuffperformance.com). Your local parts store should have access to engine dress up kits. I haven't went to dressing up the hoses yet. Just replaced them all new (black). Did get a flex fan (17") blue & polished aluminum. Put the 3 core radiator (new) in to make sure it stays cool. Another good place to look for dress up parts is Ebay.
Got the valve covers from my local Ford dealer (on sale for 129.00) then painted the Ford Oval (blue & white), letters Ford Racing (Red). Also painted the letters (Edelbrock RPM Performer) in red. Just let your imagination go wild. I even found a pair of new chrome traction bars (Lakewood) on Ebay for $12.00. You just have to look around, the items you want are out there. Hope this helps a bit.

Believe it or not, it was a MCCI member from Texas. He had items on Ebay for sale. I sent him an email asking for prices on the items I wanted powdercoated chrome. I mailed him the parts & paid for the shipping to return. Gave me a good deal cuz I was a MCCI member. Hopefully he'll see this and respond to you. He should reconize the picture, I sent him one when I got the items installed. Sorry I can't remember his name. I feel so stupid.....LOL:confused: Maybe Craig knows who it is. Hey, Craig !! Do you know the MCCI member in Texas that does powdercoating?
