I just got this Taylor Duraspark compatible coil (#718205) and the connectors are totally different than the previous coil, which had threaded posts. I called Taylor and I took it to a few auto parts stores and nobody had any idea what kind of connectors this needed. Is anyone here familiar with these? I'm not getting any where any place else.
Yep that requires the horseshoe connector used with electronic ignition. I believe any year from '75 to early '80s are same. https://www.ebay.com/i/192630438169?chn=ps
The Ford Duraspark coil uses a connector that slides over the top of the coil, painless wiring sells a harness for the conversion. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...MIof7Unum23QIVCbXACh0EzAnrEAQYAiABEgI1T_D_BwE If you want to do it the redneck way use blade style connectors, they will slide over the top of the studs.
