It came factory with a cold air duct. All you need to do is find a different air cleaner base. All I need to do is find the plastic flexable duct to hook mine back up.

Cool stuff. Is there actually an advantage to all of this?

    Cold air means power.
Watch out for those Jap looking cold air puddle suckers. Done a few motors that hydrauliced thanks to those nice low hung cold air intake set ups.

I've thought about making my grabber hood scoops functional. anybody on here done that yet?? that would be pretty cool. I want to run a scoop on top of the carb but don't want to cut a hole in my hood.

Thats a nice setup if you only drive your car on nice sunny days. Hate to follow the car in front of you through a puddle and find out how many bad things start to happen.:biglaugh:

I did it to my first Mav but I dont think it was worth the work. Not much airflow through the drilled out little scoops.
If my hood wasnt opened up as it is with my Comet gt scoop I would relocate the Battery to the trunk and run ducting from the snorkel to the rad support where the battery used to be.

M ythought would be to run ducting to the radiator support and run one of those low profile dual snorkles. If I remember correct SPECTRE products (note sure of the spelling) makes a universal kit. I believe Horse Power TV did one on there show a while back. It was on a Monte Carlo, would not be hard to find just look up Power Block TV. or Spike TV and look thru the list of previous shows.
