85 Mustang gt I believe had a dual snorkle deal If I remember right. Probably none of them around though. http://www.musclemustangfastfords.com/features/0608mmfp_1985_ford_mustang/photo_03.html
funny thing it said it was going to rain but in the last two months i've only gotten two days of rain... it in was less than an inch the Tbird has no problem in the puddles with the CAI...it does have a pre filter on it though
You could use one of these: http://www.ramairbox.com/ They've been advertised in the back of HotRod for years, and their in Hamilton.
You guys know spectre makes a cold air conversion kit for carbureted cars http://www.mustangandfords.com/tech...e_performance_cold_air_kit_install/index.html
After all this is said and done, I've seen magazine articles where they tested various setups and none made enough extra power to justify the cost. If you're going to do it, do it for the looks alone. Me personally ? I think the carb hat/EFI cold air tube setup on a carbed motor looks retarded.
Hello: When its raining the water enter to the filter? I wanna do my scoop functional but don't know what to do with water.
Do it the way the factory did. The filter sits higher in the air cleaner base. If water enters the air cleaner it sits in the bottom of the air cleaner below the filter and drains out through a small hole. That is the way the shaker on my Mach 1 works.
Wow. This solve a lot of questions. Thanks. I bought one stock filter base. Only one more problem. One hood reinforsment, I must cut it. Becouse the filter dont center on the part of sheet metal. :/ I was thinking on do this.
