I thought I came across a post here with year by year color codes with images of samples specific to the Maverick, anyone know where it is?
www.autocolorlibrary.com is the one I know. Not as good as having a real chip book, as monitor color settings can throw off the color, but it is handy for looking stuff up. A Ford shop manual has all the codes.
Anyone have dealer brochures or sales binders showing what color codes came on each year of the Mavericks and Comets?
One place the codes are in, is the shop manual - the real Ford ones, not the Chiltons or Haynes Is there a particular color code you are looking for?
Not to hijack the thread but I have been google searching this myself. For maverick and 1970 color codes themselves. In the very near future I'm dropping mine off for body work and paint. I'm wanting to get a paint color for year specific. There are images of them, save them to your computer and then you can blow them up to see them better but it's still tough to tell.
