Now we can compare the dual flow 40s with the 44s! The 44s are a little more "pingy".

Rainy outside so lighting is poor. Also, camera is a small waterproof job with video function. Nice and portable, but video quality isn't all that great, and further diminished by the resizing of YouTube and MS MovieMaker.

Thanks to Paintank for helping me figure out how to post to YouTube :Handshake

Washed yesterday, bird crap today. Me fooling around in the Comet laying rubber and being a general nuisance.
    Contains the "S bomb".

You would think that the cat would take care of the bird...

    Sounds nice! (y)

    ha-ha... pretty kewl...

Just make sure the cat don't start pissing on the mags because it destroys the chrome. If there's a clean car beside a dirty truck you'd bet the cat will sleep and walk all over the clean car.

SO I gotta ask - before someone else does - what mufflers you have - sounds nice and throaty. Tailpipes or just dumped under the car?

This one was when I was doing exhaust work...decided to drive it around the parking lot without the muffler on...lol...also if you notice when I hit my brakes at the end of the video my parking lights come on...anyone know how to fix this?

Truck is clean, just very trucklike and well used LOL no it needs a bath. I use Flowmaster 40s on flexpipe off the factory manifolds that dumb midway under the doors on both sides. If I ever get tips they will stick out, thats how close they dump.

I love that huge hood Jeff S! Very manly looking.
Maviboy tearin it up! Looks like fun!

lol thanks, I love big hood scoops, hopefully after winter itll serve a purpose more then just looks :dancing:

Im surprised I havent got a ticket in it yet, the law here says you cant have a rise from the base of your hood of more then 3" (the stock ridge in the center does not count as the base)...the "ridge" is 1/2" tall and the scoop is 5" tall, so Im 2 1/2" over legal, Ive passed plenty of cops and no one has pulled me over, but then again the cops around here are pretty laid back.

Im having a feeling once I get it painted up and done THEN Ill get pulled over :16suspect

I want my car to sound like yours...beastly but not outrageously loud (y)

Mine sounds good now. I went to a local repair shop and asked for a pair of old mufflers and he sold me these which were factory Mustang Flowmaster 40s for $25. He said he just sells them for scrap otherwise. I missed scoring a pair of black leather GT buckets he tossed by 3 days. He dumped 12 factory buckets into a dumpster and had them hauled off. I scored 3 Mustang buckets from him for free a couple years ago but they were all passenger seats! I made them work, free is free.
There is always a shop in every town that messes with Mustangs or Fords or Camaros even. They remove factory stuff and replace it so they might sell the old stuff cheap.

How do you find those shops? I need a couple of late model buckets. Are these the "custom auto" places that do stereos, alarms, big rims, etc?
