My 72 Comet needs a hood and I thought a fiberglass would be cool(standard and not GT) but I would think it not likely to be availale. Any idea's?

Here you go, it is the only glass hood I see http://www.usbody.com/ on the left scroll down to comet anf the offer a stock hood, which you could bolt on the GT scoop if you wanted to, I think they look good together.

I hope this isn't a repeat of my prior reply. Try Unlimited Products at www.up22.com. $209-$315. Long history of good light weight products.

What about the grills? Where do you get the all black grills that I see on many maverick pics?

Black Grills

I think they are all the same with the exception of color. Why not paint it?

Mine is all old and crack in places. I need to purchase another one. I have seen some with round turn signals & some with no turn signals. All were just pics on the net so I haven't seen a company that sell them.
IMO = in my opinion..
Hi Corbin, I'm the guy that bought your 72 Maverick, I'll be transfering engine trans and running gear from my wreacked 71 Comet GT,When I figure out how to send pictures. I'll send some of the Comet,It's a good example why not to use drag radials in the rain.

The Maverick and Comet grills are not reproduced unless I have been asleep
and they have come out recently.
Post a wanted ad in the Cars/Wanted section of this board. E-bay is a great
place to find them.

Best of luck-

Seth
