    Jeff, does the car have the rocker moldings?
    If so, do you think you're able to salvage the mountung clips? From what I have seen in the shop manual, they mount like the mustang ones. front and rear clip are bolted through the wheel housing, the middle is held by plastic clips. These might be riveted in.
    Would be an awesome treat for my car...

    Tody,
    I'll have to look. I think perhaps that someone had snagged the rocker moldings already ... This picture is from when they placed the car in the yard (not my pic). There was a lot less of it there by the time I got to it.

    You need the moldings and the clips?

    i have the mouldings, i would just need the clips!

    Cool ... I'll bring the cordless drill, and see if they left any good ones.

    If I remember from my first Comet, they are sheetmetal with a wire retainer.... riveted in the middle. Might be recalling my Torino, though....
