Converting OEM Struts Or Coilovers For Mav Use

    Bought the lower and upper control arms from summit racing, look at previous post for coil overs

    I'm all for thinking outside the box and hotrodding in general but my decent understanding of suspension arc geometry and overall strength of the puny lower control arms of these cars(not intended to be heavily loaded by a spring AND lower ball joint) would have me worried about that large spacing/standoff height for that ferrari knuckle. Lol.. helluva long sentence there and too tired to rewrite it.

    It's like a big shear point and only gets worse for sideloading under heavy suspension compression. At least it's not threaded but still pretty sure I could break or bend that type of connection. Would be much better and stronger to have it fully seated onto the strut rod.
