i know im definatly driving down to the round up for atleast the day. i want to go on whatever day there having the "show" just so i can check out everybody's cars all at once. maybe so swapmeeting. anyway my friend up the street has a pretty nice '72 mav 4 dr with fresh paint and ive been tryin to get him to cruise down with me. along with the mav he collects and restors some very nice 1960's caddys and he's become very acustomed to leaving car shows with a trophy or 2. so basically he wanted me to check in and see what if any kind of judging there will be and if there was any specific class he might be able to corner:rofl:

    -thanks

The "car show" portion during the 14th Annual MCCI Roundup Nationals will be on Saturday. There wil be 7 judged classes: Stock, Semi-Modified, Modified, and Super Modified, and the year breaks are 1970-1973 and 1974-1977. Full details will be available at the show. There will also be a HUGE swapmeet area with many Maverick vendors in attendance.

Find more details on the MCCI website: www.maverickcometclub.org

yeah hes really into mavericks since it was his first car but its hard to get him somewhere if he dont think he can bring home a trophy lol. im just goin to see the cars, talk to people and maybe bring a few things home. but i can onlly go for a day so im thinking that that saturday will be the way to go. i dont think my primered up 6cyl has a chance at a prize anyway lol

so if he has a really nice original condition '72 4dr what should i say his chances are lol?

The non judged class was the best thing the MCCI has done to keep the peace. Your friend should go if he is a true mavericker.

When and where is the roundup this year? I didn't see it listed on the MCCI site. I would love to go to meet fellow Maverick owners and to scrounge the swap meet for some stuff.
