    That is so cool,,,,, the cars look great together. I grew up hunting and fishing. Guns and knives were around me since birth. Best to learn the safety and handling of these things while young. Heck I got a shotgun for christmas when I was 12.

    There was a show in Durham but I let the Comet rest today. Dad had some surgery on his foot this week, so I drove him over in his '68 Ranger. He won a top 25 or something similar. It was a good day.

    Thanks for the contrats everyone ... it was a good day ... there were several times when I had small crowds gathered around both cars checking them out.

    When I first completed the Grabber and had it aligned the owner of the shop asked me if I would sell it ... told him it wasn't for sale ... He was at the show today and asked where am I getting all these Mavericks from. I told him the story about the Yellow one from the little old lady in Knoxville. He said he had a 72 Grabber that he bought new. He then asked me if either of the cars was for sale ... had to tell him no again ... :)

    Another guy said he had a Maverick the same color Yellow ... 302 with a C4 Floor shift. Said he sold it to some guy and just recently the guy offered to sell it back to him ... He said after seeing my cars he's gonna go take the guy up on the offer and buy it back ...

    In the one picture you can see my friends 71 LeMans Convertible ... woman came by and said she wanted it ... he told her $20,000 and she took his number and said she would be in touch .. He's looking for put the money towards a Cuda if he sells it ..
