I installed an overflow tank on my I-200 Maverick. Just wanted to know what specifications I should be looking for in buying a new radiator cap so the fluid will be sucked "back into" the radiator when it cools down. I've heard I should be looking for a "double seal" style? I'm also wondering what the pounds should be? The current one is 16 (not sure if it's original or not), the auto-parts store says it should be 13, but since Mavericks didn't have overflow tanks from the factory, would that be correct (or does changing it to an overflow tank have nothing to do with the pounds)?

    Thanks for suggestions....

13 - 17 will work but the higher the pressure the more stress on the radiator.
Your cap has to be made for a coolant recovery style system - it will have a rubber gasket right under the cap and another rubber gasket on the bottom - where all the caps have a gasket.
