Three switches, guess you have to rule switch out -- unlikely 3 defective.

when first started yesterday it ran for a few seconds and died. I turned the switch to off and checked the wire, it was dead.
today I think I will crank it, turn the key off and pull the fuel pump fuse, then check it for power...

note...I was just looking over the install instructions and it said...no relay required.
it has a built in fuel pump relay in the EFI, so in reality ...with the relay I installed it has two.
    ...:yup:...
I may bypass the one I installed.

    going way out there...
being this just started with the fuel reg. install...:scratchchin:
maybe if I hook it back up to returnless it may make a difference...
all I have to do is remove the return line connection and plug that port.

OK...went out and removed the extra fuel pump relay.
now it's hook straight to the EFI per instructions.

    NOW THE BIGGY...
cranked it up, switched it off...still running.
here is where it really gets weird...
went to the back (switch off) and disconnected the feed wire to the fuel pump...
at a minute it was still running. I tested the wire coming from the EFI and it had power. checked the one coming from pump...no power...
before, if I pulled the pump fuse (at the pump) it would die in a matter of seconds.
instead of being stressed out, I'm now more... weirded... out...:yup:

Make sure your ground from the battery to engine and body are all tight and clean. Power is taking so many weird pathways in your car, you got to make sure the correct one is available. I would be checking every ground wire I could find at this point.
