cowls gone bad

    that and the rear drivers side floor that is it ..

    1975 Maverick 2 door, 250ci.
    I have a missing cowl on the driver side of my 75. I removed the front fender and cut an access panel to the cowl. I am thinking of wedging a ball of some sort into the hole and then fiberglassing over it. Hopefully i can remove the ball and seal the area with a rubberized coating and not have to replace the entire panel. What think ye all?

    an A/C car doesn't have an opening on the driverside. you don't have to have an opening on the passenger side...i don't.

    Maybe I am not supposed to have an opening but I do- its a big enough hole for a softball to pass through. Are you saying that An A/C car does not have the hats?

    it's on the passenger side. it's for fresh air through the AC/heaterbox. i did away with mine so it just recirculates like a late model car...
