Thanks for asking Don :Handshake I know anybody that would be able to attend would have a good time seeing all the toys he has and Jim would probably be impressed if a bunch of Mavericks and Comets showed up at his place of business.

I know that if it could be scheduled for later in the afternoon there would probably be more people that could attend, I dont know when our Canadian crew will show up but figure it would not be in time for it as they usually show up later on Saturday but there are enough local people that could show up if we get the word out that it would still be a good attendance

 

I will mail my entry on Monday! Unfortunately it looks like I will have to make the trek without a hood as I have one I have to pick up at Michael's place in Everett( may have to do a quick black spritz on it before I put it on). What time is the Jim Greene thing and where are we meeting up for the drive? Just so I know what to shoot for! Must say I am looking forward to the Golden Corral as well..Anyone else from Canada going? Anyone North of Everett can join us as we drive though your area...let me know where your are and I will let you know when we are close to you! Should be fun...but won't be the same without Coop & Kathy...

I haven't talked to you yet but I'm trying to get a mini cruise going to Jim Green's for Saturday before the cruise. I think I've got yellow 75 and street deacon on board and I think we can twist Mat's arm to come by with his race car before he goes in the pits. I've got a list of local guys that I'm going to PM soon. I'll get some pictures up of his gallery(I call it a hot rod museum) any way it really cool.anyway hope to hear from you soon.

Are the races on saturday evening? And what time are they?

 

Lookin forward to it all! planning on coming to join everybody at Jim Greens as well.. I'm just wondering which one of you are gonna take the Maverick drag car he's got in the back of his shop I saw he was selling the 427 out of it a couple weeks back!

Oh and what time are we meeting at on Saturday? I race on sunday so thats not a conflict

 

Matt what time are you going to have to take off on Sunday for races? As far as a time to meet for Jim Greenes tour I am open, Don what do you say and where should we meet

 

I'm still trying to work a deal with Green's they normally close at 1:00pm Saturday if we can get enough cars he might stay late If not we'll have to make it earlier so rattle some cages and blow some horns see if you can get some more guys. As for a meet up place I'd be good with Denny's
it's easy and most people know where thats at.
Possable 7 cars now.

 

Not sure as of yet. I wont know until it gets quite a bit closer. They usually tell us when the back gates open about a week before the race. But if I was to throw a number out I'll probably have to leave the cruise at 2ish-3ish. I know in the past they typically open up the cruise way earlier then the time posted

 

I have my motel reservations for friday, saturday and sunday nights, so any time sat.works for me at this time. It will be good to change things up a little.

 

Just need a time to shoot for and we will do our best to make the shop tour! Anyone want to join us for the drive down...feel free to let me know where you are and we will pick you up on the way down! If anyone wishes to share a room..let me know as one of our group is wanting to share the cost!
