Just a thought here. I'm putting on a So.Cal.Falcon Cruz night and would like to invite Maverick owners as well to join in. I know this is short notice, but I figured why not. The cars are cousins right?

The Falcon Cruz night is set for Saturday evening (5:pM on), August 9, at the Wienerschnitzel/Tastee Freeze that just opened a few months ago at: 1001 N. San Fernando Blvd., Burbank, CA. 91094, Ph. 818-940-9440. They are just north of Burbank Blvd. next to the 5 Frwy. Up the street from the big IKEA

Food, Fun, Fords and Friends. If ya have any questions, please contact me. Cell phone# 562-756-5046

    Bob,
I'll see if I can make it. I don't have to work but I need to check with my better half. I live in Lancaster (1 hour north of you). Should be fun, hope I can make it.

Jerilyn, Lancaster is a bit of a haul, but I used to live there and made the trek all the time. Worked at L.A.C.R. for twent years and wrote an auto column for the AV Press too. Look forward to seeing you if possible. Not sure what the turn out will be. This is the first try at this cruz.

Mavman, I do wanna see your cars, say were you at the NHRA cruz Wednesday? There were two Mavericks side by side there that I looked at for a bit.

This is an open event so If anyone can make that's great if not, we'll catch ya another time.
