    Not to steal this thread. But if you're buying new springs where's everyone geting them from? and what kind are they geting? Has anyone tried these and will they work? NPD has: Contour Coil Springs. 1" lower and provides increased stiffness gray powder coated. Price is $66.95

    You can get them from various places. JC Whitney (where mine were from), or several catalog providers that you can find in any of the Mustangs and Fast Fords magazines.

    Those ones you are looking at are pretty much what we are talking about.

    So these springs even tho meant for a 67-73 Mustang are the same as Maverick springs. Do they drop the car 1" as advertised?

    well i tried those spring clamps.. i put 2 on one side as recomended and it didnt even lower my car.. it just screwed up the camber really bad...

    :huh:Sorry it didn't work for you,it dropped mine about 2".I knew it would mess up the camber,that's why I said you'd need an alignment.But at least it wasn't permanent.
