I better get in on this too. I have a good dash pad, but I bet it will crack someday... I'll take one and pick it up at the Roundup. :)

It looks like 50 so far.

They will take 3-4 weeks to make them and then another week to get them to maverick5946. All this time to wait is AFTER we all pay and the money gets sent to ACCU FORM. I will see if they can make them now and we send them the money when the order is completed. I am pretty sure they will want to be paid up front though.

A few issues though. I hoped this wouldn't happen. The lady I talked to at ACCU FORM originally stated that the shipping was free. Wrong. It is free shipping for orders over $1,000 for PRE-EXISTING wholesalers that have been doing business with them and have an account with them already. Damn. Did a price quote on shipping as close as I could figure for FEDEX linked below.

I figured about 25 caps per box at about 1lb each. A box size of 60" X 15" X 12" with the weight being 25lbs per box. It came up to a total of $63.84. Still not too bad since we are not paying $50+ dollars per cap AND shipping for each individual cap ordered.

This is for FEDEX Ground with the 2 packages being 60" X 15" X 12" and weighing 25lbs each with $500 worth of insurance per package.
    http://www.fedex.com/ratefinder/shipInfo Total is $63.84.

Remember also guys...this is the ideal inexpensive protection for those of us that do have perfect original dash pads...especially if you have a black one. (They can be died too) If your car stays out in the sun very much, sooner or later it is going to crack and these caps are pretty much undetectable. Very cheap insurance if you ask me.

So is Ron considered an existing wholesaler? We collect the money, order under Ron's name have them drop shipped to John's.

I think I would talk to everyone there untill they break, where's the incentive to become a wholesaler for them?
50 Today, 30 next year? Who knows?

And HOW often are the going to get an order for 50 plus caps from an individual? They should be willing to make an exception.

If you think about it, with the price of gas, that's still probably not feasible. You're really only looking at adding a buck to each cap by the time we get this order together.

Why don't everyone who wanted one put just their zip code in a post and then we can see how much shipping would be. OR.................. We could all just use the dimensions of 60"X 10" X 10" and a weight of lets say 5lbs from 40218 to your zip. Voila. PFM. (Pure Freaking Magic) $35 + the quote you received for shipping to your address + your total cost. Let’s help Maverick5946 and get some quotes of our own. We all need to be using the same way to ship (FEDEX, DSL, USPS) so it will make it easier on Maverick5946(John Ford) to get them sent to us. Instead of having to run all over GODS green earth to send them to us.

Maverick5946, Can you get the boxes made from your work?

Maverick70 - So is Ron considered an existing wholesaler? We collect the money, order under Ron's name have them drop shipped to John's. - THEY WILL NOT UNLESS RON ALREADY HAS AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM !!!!

Below is the address we need to send the money to just in case ya’ll missed it.

    John Ford
    2127 Peabody Lane
    Louisville, KY.
    40218-1212

ALSO, the cost of the shipping could be absorbed into the cost of the order. That would keep the price of the cap at $35 + shipping to your house/business.

if we add $2 per cap, it's still a bargain at $37 each. i'm ready. :)

I think we need to keep it at $35 and let the price difference cover the INITIAL shipping from ACCU FORM.(See price difference below) What we pay versus what ACCU FORM sells them to us for.
Let me put this in "Dick & Jane" terms. The INITIAL shipping would already be covered with the $35 per cap price. See math below. Believe me, John is not going to get rich here.

$35.00 What we are going to send John for each cap ordered.
$27.37 What each cap costs us from ACCU FORM.

    35.00 - 27.37 = $7.63

$7.63 per cap can be used for Johns time, gas and possibly the boxes and tape to send the caps to us. Sound fair?

SO, you take your $35 cost for the cap and add shipping based on Johns zip posted in my last post to this thread.

I will be the first to figure their own shipping using FEDEX - 60"X10"X10" box that weighs 5 lbs from 40218 to 23503 (residence) with package value of $100 will cost me $12.28 using Fedex Home Delivery. So, my total cost will be $47.28. That was easy. I'm glad I am done with that! [IMG]

And now UPS: $15.15 for a total of $50.15.
