    Hey Roy what's up.(not being perverted:biglaugh: )

I thought you were going to help me with that cost for shipping. I noticed that my name had no shipping info by it. That is cool the way you did that list:thumbs2:

    Another FYI

Expect the price to be different when you actually get it to the UPS/FedEx counter. The internet calculator is just an estimate, and at the counter, I have gotten better deals, and much worse deals (so bad at one time that I actually GAVE AWAY some sidepipes, because I misquoted the shipping, but they were big and heavy). For smaller and lighter, and even-shaped items, the quotes are much closer to real prices.

SO, don't throw a hissy if it comes out 3-5 dollars plus or minus what was estimated.

And again, THANKS go out to ANYONE that is willing to go through all this hassle for a group of people, many of whom he does not personally know.

He deserves ultimate respect and cooperation, as he is likely encountering much stress and many dead-ends on his endeavors to collect and ship these out to us. (y) (y) (y)

Let's sum this up and do some thinking

    1. The caps are $27.63 plus shipping.
    2. We send John $35 for the cap and to include shipping to John and a few coins to John for his efforts.
    3. John will ship the caps to those not going to the Round-Up
    Hmmmm......
Considering time and materials, is $35 to John plus the actual shipping cost to your door sufficient for John? Are the few coins he gets in the $35 really enough to cover his time and expense to ship what seems like is to be several of these caps? Just thinking out loud.

    Terry,

I think we are on the same page. I just do not want to see John(or anybody else for that matter) get the short end of the stick regardless of anybodies financial situation. John has done plenty and in case some people have forgotten already he has his hands full hosting the round up. John I am sure will speak up tonight. I personally wasn't worried about price per say. If I save $10.00 cool but so does everybody else then that just ROCKS!!!!:yup: Sometimes I think some people are to short sighted and do not look at the big picture. Which is working together like true maverickers for the greater good!!!!! :Handshake

    wowzer! o_O

Missed alot while I was gone :D

Not sure about all the little detail stuff..... :16suspect
    But...lets do this.....
Lets get this going...if we wait to long, then we will miss the Round-up.

I have no problem doing whatever the group wants to do. But lets get the money in so we can get these things made....
I was glancing over all the post and I got a question or two....

    1) Is Ron the middle man here?
    2) If he is, would it be better to send the money to him?
    3) and have them (dashpads) shipped to me?
    4) If Ron is the middle man, and does not want to deal with the money, then
lets send the money to me, and I can mail a "full" MO to him (Ron).
    5) If there is no middle man, then lets get the MO's coming to me so we can
    get moving on this.

*I am not wanting to make any money on this at all....I want to do this to help myself and others that need this piece....so lets not worry about getting extra cost for my pocket, lets just get these pieces.

*for those that know they will need to pay for shipping. Get the quote, add that to the cost of the dashpad and send the MO.

    Things that will help me:
    1) Money orders only
    2) Note in the mail with the MO stating:
*How many dashpads you are ordering.
*Your real name and board name.
*Which shipper you want to go through.
*Or if you are picking up at the Round-up.

Is someone taking care of the Dashpad people? Do they know we are coming? :D

We need to set a deadline and it needs to be pretty quick, time is running out. :p

John, do you have any preference about shipper? Fedex is a couple dollars less than the post office, but I'll go with whichever is most convenient for you. It's about $25-28 to ship to San Ramon, CA. When do you need the MO by?

    No preference to me Ros.

Not sure I would think we need to get this going pretty quick, I think the appeal to some was the fact they could pick up at Round-up......I think I read 5 weeks after they get their money and we have about 12 weeks before Round-up.
I would think we would need all the orders to me by the17th of this month, that way I could get it mailed by the end of that week....JMO.
