    sorry guys didnt mean to start a debate. i was just surprised at the price. i guess sometimes i need to keep my opinons to myself. but just one more opinion, i dont like the dash covers.

    Well...this isn't related to the cap vs pad discussion, but I use baby oil on all my dashboards. It keeps them soft and flexible - and looks good too. I've been doing this a long time with no problems whatsoever. If you've seen my cars, that's not my Armor-All that makes the dash pads shiny.
