Yep, already have it disassembled and primed. I will split the trim line. Thank you for the help.

That is what I was thinking on my build. I was going to paint the lower portion and the upper portion by the dash pad black and the center section the charcoal gray that we will use for the grabber stripes.

I saw a maverick grabber that was for sale in orange and black I really liked it the dash was painted to match the paint job and the pad was black I didnt get to drive it but it sure was nice. the guy even went as far as having like fiberglass speaker boxes that came off of the lower kick panel areas that were orange with black grills over his speakers

I think an orange dash with a black pad would be killer and do a clean bold black pin stripe name in cursive on the dash either comet or maverick like the outside emblems maybe the engine size also?

Can't offer any advice on what to paint it, but I can tell you on mine I went to clean off glue from a sticker with rubbing alcohol and it took the factory paint off right down to bare metal!!

It's painted. Had to temporary install to see how it looks with dash pad and trim on it. I thank everybody for their input, I think it turned out great.

Looks nice but it would be better if you painted the cluster and ash tray orange.

Ashtray is orange, just not installed. was wondering about the cluster too. Figured I would try it black before painted orange.

I think..................just my opinion................if you paint the cluster orange it will just be too much orange and not enough black................I think the contrast is just perfect........................but it's your car.

And I think it needs the orange and leave the circles black.. And try and do a orange stripe instead of silver around the circles also..

I painted my dash...gloss black...and it has the reflection on the inside of the windshield...kinda like a fighter jet look...:D it took a little getting use to...as you pass things on the road they appear to run across the windshield like something ran across the road in front of you...:yup:
