The first Western Pennsylvania Maverick/Comet meet will be August 24 & 25, 2002. Hotel arrangements are still pending, but will be available to you all soon. Two cruises and other fun are planned. The main cruise will be on the 25th at the Lake Arthur Regatta sponsored by the Butler County Chamber of Commerce. Our club and attendees are being recognized by the Chamber by holding back dash plaques for all our people. Only 200 plaques are being made for this event, but the Chamber is making sure that ALL of our attendees have one to take home. I do not believe any other group is being treated as this.
