well instead of drawing up some designs, i've photoshop a couple pictures from the gallery (thank you to whomever's comet picture i used). I think i've decided which design i prefer, but i won't say anything till i'm 100% sure. the pictures can be found here: http://www.nexopia.com/weblog.php?uid=211206&id=2930781 (the forum wouldn't allow for the size of the pics)

aside from these designs i was thinking of making a clone 74 gt. (original baby blue) but im not really leaning that way anymore.

anyways any feedback would be great, thank you!

Black on top with the white stripe looks like the Trans-Am Maverick that should have been.

i like all the designs myself, the great the is i actually have 3 comet hoods lying around and only one comet. so i could easily paint multiple hoods for the same car. and the 4a,4b,4c is the design i'm leanin heavily towards. it just matches the interior so well. and is unlike anythink i've seen, but and the same time it looks like -in a perfect world- it could have been stock.

I like 3a, 3c, and 4b. Both have a really good color combo. And I like the dividing stripe on 4b best, it breaks it up just that much more, makes the body not look as fat top to bottom, and for some reason doesnt make the rear bumper appear as big, more racier too! Good work! I need to get a photo shop program.(y)

when i first designed the "4's" it was flat white. but i edited it to be a little more shiney silverish. in reality i think i would want it to be a silver-white
(alot more white than silver), not a color you see on the road very often but i think it would deffinatly work. although i think either striaght siver or straight white would both look good too. wadda you think?

Silver,Blue and Gold-just like the Bad Co. song. Not much gold just a little touch, maybe pin striping. That will set it off.

You have come up with some pretty cool designs. Personally I'm not a big fan of white except as an accent like pinstripes or something. I like some of the blue, black and silver combinations. I'd go with the darker colors on the bottom to draw your eye up. I'm a fan of the hood scoops too.
