David I got a new windshield in Tucson during the winter. There were a couple shops that had them it wasn't hard to get at all.

Robbie, good luck with the build! I was thinking I wanted to try and throw a motor together for my car to run the national. They just made the maverick a very good inexpensive combo. Let me know if you have any questions on anything.

Hey Gene, U/SA is 14.85 for the index. The motor has to be all stock. There are little changes you can make, Stock replacement pistons, low drag rings, set the motor up loose. the cam has to have the same lift but you can change duration and lobe centers. Rear gears, toqure converter, things like that. Lots of little things. The hardest thing is going that fast with a stock intake and carb.
I have lots of help. This will be fun.

Picked up my headers from Alex today. Thanks Alex:Handshake

Gene, not sure yet. I'm sure Mark knows the right guy for it. Kind of hope to find a good used cam from a ford racer out there somewhere.

Robbie what class does it fit now that they put the HP back on q or r? I would think they woul take at least a couple HP off at the end of the year if you submit the request online. Might not get it back to U but any help is good. When are you trying to get it done by?

I would like to have it done by the national at firebird/wildHorse. Mark still thinks U is possable.
