A spring meet would mean i will have to charge the battery in my car. Sounds like a project to me. :naughty: Ive been busy with my new hobby lately, Poker.

We can always just cruise out to Barros again some saturday afternoon. then those that want to can go to the show at Kmart after.

Plus you would have to add some oil to make up for the big oil slick underneath your car...sounds like TWO projects for you. :rofl2: If we do this let's wait till early April...I'll be busy at the track for a few Saturdays towards the end of March and my Mav is down right now for at least another week for some "tweaking".

Finally got my Maverick up and running again, now I just need to finish the front end... Fabricate a grill, refurbish hood and headlight trim, install different turn signals.

I believe that after you buy these and have them redone your at or not so far away from a set of GT40X heads.. that will have better performance besides being lighter...

If those are 70 351w heads then they have larger valves then the old 302 heads but they also have larger combustion chambers and will reduce horsepower, dont know why he says it will increase compression. they have the biggest combustion chambers out of any small block ford head. with flat top pistons they make about 8.5:1 compression. I had a set of those on my 347 and wondered for a while why my power was less then expected. then i learned more and put on a set of trick flow heads and was the biggest improvement i ever made.

Did you guys go to the cruise-on-central? I am still recovering from the flu I have had for the last 10 days so I did not make it...:cold:

Sorry to hear that Gene. I hope you get better soon!

I was there, but the car wasn't. Long story, but I am still struggling with bad sensor data from my cam sensor. Anyhow, I got there about 4:30 and wandered the show. I didn't see any Mavericks. I don't know if nobody made it, or if they left early, or if they had the same kind of luck both you and I had?!?
