    T-bird in the garage, check
    Compressor, hoist, and tools, check
Just found out I have this weekend off work, double check

The engine and trans are finally coming out.

Once the engine is out do you guys have any suggestions in making this "130 hp 240 lb-ft" engine to have a little more pep. Not looking to break records or bank

Almost out! Got everything un-bolted just need to get a chain and be hoisted out. Would be out today but need to make time for family.

Anyone need an AOD trans or 8.8 rear end or anything from the 83 bird. Trans and rear end will be out tomorrow. The bird will probably be scraped shortly after unless someone wants to make it into a drag car

    Sorry to hear that.

I'm in need of distributor, carb, headers, gears and diff for 28 spline 9", maybe an intake manifold. So trades will be considered

I missed the cruise on Central...how was it? Static...sorry to hear about the layoff...that really sucks.

I'm thinking it's time for another mini-meet here! Maybe early to mid November or December time frame...and hopefully my car will make it to this one! Who's up for it???

I am in as long as I am free. I am about to start swapping parts onto the Maverick since I have them and a lot of free time. Small bumpers, grabber wing, sport mirrors, and floor shift.

Did anyone miss me? lol Still working on getting life back to normal since splitting up with the ex wife last October. Been living at my dads house the last year waiting to buy a house. That hasnt worked out so moving into one of my dads rental down the street in a couple weeks. Youd think Id have all kinds of free time being single now. But Ive filled that time with poker and single women. lol. Have no motivation to work on my old cars since theyve been sitting outside for a year. Once I get moved in and get them in the garage Ill clean up the maverick and truck and fix a couple things ive been putting off on both of them and get them back out on the road. the poker and girl fun will slow down since Ill actually have bills to pay again.

A mini meet in early december sounds like a great idea.

Find some cheap E7 heads to swap on to it, some people practically give them away. They are much better then the heads on it now. then toss in a nice lumpy cam, RPM, intake and a 600 CFM carb. should be a nice 250hp cruiser.

Do any of you guys like to play poker? I have a full size poker table for my new house and I'm going to set up some home games a couple times a month. We would play tournament style, buy in and play till you bust out or get in the money spots. maybe $20 or $40 games. its cheap fun.
