Any cool truck stuff? I just started messing with the idea of swapping in a explorer 5.0 into a 2000 ranger.. so far i have just rebuilt the front end.. goiing to reseal the 302 soon and see how easy they say this swap is

 

Nothing too cool. Just did a disc brake swap on the front of my 70 f100 and collecting part to do the same to the 68 F100 I got this summer. Been doing a lot tinkering on the new 68 but it only has a 300 i6 in it.

 

have you ever looked into that crown Vic front end swap? seems to be many doing it.. some even just drop the whole f100 on that frame
any pics of the trucks?

 

Ive seen it but not on my list. Its a fairly simply swap as far as changing suspension goes but still needs some fabrication and I dont have those tools. Would be nice to do to my 68 eventually. For now I am going to do an axle flip in rear and cut springs in front to lower it.

 

Ive had the 70 maroon and white one 21 years. Just got the gray 68 this summer

 

Just got back online after an internet connectivity issue. Did we ever settle on a date for a meet? I'm bringing my '70 down from the shop this weekend. Will have to move the '64 F100 to the side to make room in the garage, but I don't think it will mind.

 

How about a Maverick/Comet mini meet on Saturday night, December 7th as part of the Mixteca car show at 67th Ave and Bell Road?

Brought the '70 down tonight. Have a couple things to do but fortunately that is only a couple miles from my place.

 

Ive been going to the Mixteca show with my trucks lately. Unfortunately I have a work Christmas party on the 7th and cant make it.
