Next year is the big one. If I was you I'd be changing my bday in the system so nobody knows you are turning the big 5 0. But maybe by next years Bday you will have some track times for your car.

No work on the Maverick this weekend, waiting on the hydraulic parts which should be here tomorrow. then all thats left is to do the fabrication of the mounts an dbolt it al up and make some hoses.

I did get some things accomplished this weekend. Got the truck fired up and brakes fixed. Had a leaky heater valve that I changed out too. Even reglued some weather stripping that was coming apart and washed it up. then I drove it over to my dads house and left it behind the fence and drove the Mustang to my house. Was getting too many cars out front with the Maverick hogging all the room in the garage.

Anybody need an Edelbrock 750cfm carb? I used to run this on my 347 but sticking with the 600 now that im running a stock bottom end. It was a manual choke carb but I removed all the choke stuff long ago. I just put it on Craigslist for $150 but can do a little cheaper if somebody here can use it.

    Thanks Adam!

I'm not sure if this is the big one or not at GCC. I assume it is, since this is the right time of year. But anyway, I'm planning on being there on Sunday. I don't think that I'm going to sell unless someone wants to share a spot (I don't have a ton of stuff) and I didn't get a letter this time. I'm assuming it's because I haven't sold there for the last couple of them.

I might go to the KOOL car show on Saturday as well. To bring the car, or to not bring the car...that is the question...

dang I forgot about the Kool show, and its righ tdown the street. I comitted to doing a brake job on my moms car this sat morning. Maybe Ill head over then when im done. But Im sure Gene will remind me that the brake job will take me 3 weeks. And the only vehicle I have worth taking to a show is my truck, which is now 20 miles away.

I will be walking the swapmeet as well. Nothing to sell at this time its all in storage and the cost of gas just to get it all would not be worth it.

Where is the KOOL car show at? Tried looking at the website but it keeps freezing on me:mad: One of the nephews keeps asking to go to a car show, maybe I will scoop him up and bring him if I can make it.

The KOOL show is at Cardinals Stadium. Should be a pretty big show. I may go check it out if I get some free time. Or maybe Ill start working on the trans install. Chances are I wont have any extra time anyways.
