    No can do. Dec. 10th is the Ironman Classic and Santa's Race at Sir. The Ironman is IHRA's equivalant of the NHRA Wally. I need an Ironman to keep Wally company. :)

    Speedworld specifying a club day is funny. Its just like any other day when anybody who wants to can come out and race. Just they are hoping to get them to come in groups. id rather wait for a day when ONE club has the lanes reserved just for them. Oh Wait, we tried that already and Speedworld failed us. Hmmm somebody is still bitter about that. :huh:

    Regardless, I wont be ready to run by then. I really just need a good solid day or two and I can get the car totally back togethor. But waiting on parts, money, and free time is what always holds me up.

    Yeah, I'm thinking March or April timeframe might be a better time to try to schedule a club day out at the track. Besides...maybe by then I can get my car running quicker so Ryan won't beat me so bad...:drive: Maybe even Tony might make an appearance with his car?? :huh:

    Thats a pretty ambitious thought, thinking Tony and I will both have running cars at the same time. But a Spring meet would be good for sure. And I AM NOT picking the day. Im actually surprised it didnt rain Friday when 3 Maverick guys got togethor at my house. Maybe since one was from California the Desert Maverick curse was not in order.

    There is a car show in Surprise on Saturday. I'm hoping that I can do a late registration for that one. I think that Sam's club is having one as well on Sunday, but I'm not positive on that one.

    What if? We got together without our cars, not to run down the track or anything like that. Do you think it would rain? If we planned a "Getogether" nowhere near a Drag Strip, indoors at a resturant or a pizza place, would it go out of bussiness before we got there?:biglaugh:

    Sounds like this "Curse" is like working on my Maverick. If I didnt pull up the carpet, would there be any rust?
    If another meet is planned, would it snow?
    Would there be a catastophic 10.0 earthquake?

    What would happen....IF......Ryan got his car running again?
