Odds are that I will probably be there. Like I said, there is much less trouble to get into at Speedworld vs Vegas.

Ok, I'm done. I didn't send one to Robbie or myself for obvious reasons, and e-mail for statesblue and thewest were both full. Otherwise, mine are complete.

I'm hoping to be at the point to make a pass or two with the Maverick by October (but don't expect rocket ship et's...I will probably still be in the half track phase at that point). I have a lot of tuning between now and then though. The delay is mostly because of the weather. Soon as it cools off, I will get some miles on this thing and learn what it wants.

I have 2 more to go, I gave myself more to do than you guys. Ive had a couple with full boxes. probably those guys that signed up and never posted much and only get 3 messages before its full. Probably full from my last set of messages about the last meet.

Even with a half track run Tony you should be able to outrun Gene :rofl2: Not knocking gene but your car at half pass should be pretty fast.

Lets just hope Gene isnt the fastest maverick out there again. I'll bring my brother out with his falcon just incase we have to humble Gene a little.

Well lets hope all that work I have to do is worthwhile so I can beat the high 15s i was running. Maybe I will just run the Focus and see if I can catch Gene. Ya, wishful thinking there too.

My first car was a 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler with the 429 CJ and I got it for...

    wait for it...

    here it comes...

    $800!!!!!!!!!!!

Try to find that today. I had $800 of fun just driving it home that day. I've searched for one for years and can't ever find anything less than $10k. I've got an old 429 CJ just sitting in the garage waiting for me to find another one. Maybe some day.

My best friends Big Brother had a 70 spoiler in 1971. That was the coolest car.....Red with a Black top and black stripes, I liked the way the guages were angled tword the driver. I think I paid 1400.00 for the Torino. Most people don't know what a Spoiler is....shame.:)

Tony I bet that CJ will fit in nicely in my brothers Falcon with the MII front end. If you arent going to use it for a while we could have some fun with it. We will give it back after you find anohter $800 spoiler.
