differences from comet gt and regular comet?

    Here's a picture of my 71 Comet GT taken in April 1971. Mine had wheel lip moldings and no drip rail moldings. What you see is exactly the way it came from the dealership when I purchased it in November 1970.

    Here's both of my 1972 Comet GTs:

    The green one has the painted drip rails and no vinyl top. It also has a column shifter. The grill was busted out before I purchased it and was replaced with a standard one.

    The red one does have the trim, but it also is a vinyl top car.

    Its late and I basically skimmed over the thread, but has anyone mentioned that the GTs only had bucket seats in the front no matter if it was a floor or column shift?
