    FYI ... Frank ... I am using all the factory connections. The coil wire with the original yellow boot is plugged into my Pertronix coil ... then the red wire from the Pertronix is also hooked to the the same post.

    Me too. It required a nut under the little yellow boot to clamp down the eyelet for the Pertronix. I had to grind the nut down about halfway to give me enough post to shove the yellow boot on.

    I've had a few
    Wish I could have made it. I was up real late Saturday night trying to finish the install of the 200 into the '72, to find that the header hits the frame with the 200 vs. the 250 and the transmission I put in was dead. I gave up at that point, slept in Sunday morning and got up and swapped the transmission in time to head home Sunday night. On the upside, the '72 is now powered by a '71 200 with 31,000 original miles on it. Good to go for another 200,000+ miles. :)
