MSD box...do you think Ford makes them for Mavericks...
just like all aftermarket parts...each company makes them for all brand cars...nothing brand specific. so remember...when you put that new shiny aftermarket part on, they make the same part for..."that other brand"...

Just take it out of the engine compartment and put it inside, less wires and no more unsightly mess.
Although mine is just a race car the 7AL-3 is where I can see and smell it.
Besides, I've had people (not racer types) look inside and say WOW, that must be a real race car!.....................and I laugh.

    Voltage lights the fire

Add a blower, turbo, nitrous, or hi compression and try to light the cylinder pressure off with a weak spark at higher rpms and power levels and you get spark blowout.

I've got a 10.5 to 1 engine, it doesn't need more spark at 7000:idea: I spent the money for that on something more useful. I don't run (cheat) NOS. And my turbo charged engine(s) is a diesel.:D

I don't need the extra fire above 5000. And I don't need to spend that money to find out what I already know. It works just fine as is. (y)

Just because I only drive it 10 miles a year doesn't mean upwards of 600 people don't look under the hood each year!

    It is ugly and embarrassing.

10.5.1 isnt "high"i was speaking of 12.1+ but use what works for you when cylinder pressure rises voltage need increases.
